The City of Amarillo Department of Public Health is responsible for promoting health and preventing disease in the citizens of Potter and Randall Counties. Public Health services include community health assessment, linkage to health services and promotion of policies that encourage the health of the community.

Coming September 2014

Our new Mobile Immunization Clinic will begin serving the citizens of Amarillo, Texas September 2014!

  • Mobile Immunization Clinic will travel to multiple sites around Amarillo
  • No appointments necessary, walk-ins accepted
  • Adults who are uninsured/underinsured are eligible
  • Children who have Medicaid, uninsured/underinsured are eligible
  • Minimal charge. However, no one will be turned away due to inability to pay
  • Must present immunization record, children under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian
